We have some incredible announcements coming soon that you DO NOT want to miss!
The outside ambiance seemed to amplify the lights, producing an extra fine glow as they danced along with the music. Images like the turtle seen in the background were cast onto white backdrops including the band members themselves. Following the incredible performance from the night before on the indoor stage, The Soup were warmed up and ready to go for their second set of the weekend. The band played a mix of some tried and true numbers and also treated us to a few brand new original songs. To go along with the “90’s Night” theme, Turtle Soup debuted some covers that were considered all that and a bag of chips during that decade.
Please stay tuned for detailed set lists, pictures, videos and audio of the weekend!
This art display was positioned by the tent stage and crafted by some of our grooviest campers. In unison with the scheduled live music, the installment consistently drew a healthy crowd of art connoisseurs who couldn’t help but get a closer look! Thanks for everyone’s additions to this masterpiece!
We cannot thank enough, the many unique and talented artists who joined forces this past Labor Day weekend to create the magical wonderland that was Souper Groove 4. The undeniable love and creative energy was felt all over by every festival goer!
Special thank to JM Hartl for his pictures from Souper Groove 4.
New photos and audio coming soon!
Souper Groove had over 50 scheduled bands this year spanning the course of 3 days and nights. At night the music and light shows were extraordinary, but some of the weekend’s best shows came while sunlight was at it’s peak! Check out this picture of Splintered Sunlight, Saturday. Thanks to the band for a fantastic mid day set!
We had just the right amount of ingredients to make this year’s Soup fest bubble over with awesomeness – a beautiful site to call home for the weekend, a great crowd and amazing talent. Can we go back yet?!?
Who can forget the 3D extravaganza that bathed a section of Souper Groove camping with dazzling dots of brilliant light this year?
After the sun went down, as Groovers strolled through the rear section of camp, their landscape became illuminated in vibrant, pin sized lights all thanks to some amazingly creative folks. This was not the first display of it’s kind in SG history, but certainly the largest to date. Thank you to our Souper campers!
